My Approach
Healing begins with compassion
I believe that beneath our struggles lies an innate capacity for healing.
The anxious part. The perfectionist. The people-pleaser. The inner critic. The part carrying grief, shame or fear.
None of these parts are the problem. They are intelligent adaptations that developed to protect us in the face of life’s challenges.
Healing begins when we stop fighting these parts and start relating to them with curiosity, compassion and understanding.
This philosophy lies at the heart of my work.
Rooted in Internal Family Systems
My work is primarily rooted in Internal Family Systems (IFS), a compassionate, evidence-informed model of psychotherapy that understands the mind as a community of inner parts.
IFS recognises that every person possesses an innate core essence known as the Self — a calm, compassionate and deeply wise presence that cannot be wounded by life’s experiences.
As our protective and wounded parts begin to trust this inner presence, they no longer need to carry the burdens they have held for so long. Rather than trying to eliminate or control parts of ourselves, we help them heal, integrate and rediscover their natural place within our inner system.
For me, Self is more than a psychological concept. It is also a deeply spiritual one.
Some people experience Self as their Higher Self, Sacred Heart, inner wisdom or simply a profound sense of loving presence. Whatever language feels most authentic to you, I believe it is through this connection that our deepest healing unfolds.
An integrative, embodied approach
While IFS forms the foundation of my practice, healing is rarely a purely cognitive process.
Our experiences live not only in our thoughts, but also in our bodies, nervous systems and emotional patterns. For this reason, I integrate somatic trauma therapy, mindfulness, transpersonal psychotherapy and other trauma-informed approaches to support healing on every level of our being.
As a highly sensitive person myself, I have a deep appreciation for the richness and intensity with which sensitive people experience the world. My work is particularly suited to those who feel deeply, absorb the emotions of others, struggle with self-criticism or people-pleasing, and long for a more authentic and compassionate relationship with themselves.
Together, we gently tend to the wounds of the past—not to remain there, but to free the parts of you that have been carrying them. As those burdens soften, you become increasingly able to live from the clarity, compassion, courage and connectedness of your true Self.
My intention is not to become the source of your healing, but to help you reconnect with the source of healing that already lives within you.
Honouring the Soul
Many highly sensitive people find themselves asking profound questions:
Who am I beneath my conditioning?
Why do I keep repeating these patterns?
What gives my life meaning?
How can I live more authentically?
I believe that periods of anxiety, depression, loss or inner conflict can sometimes serve as invitations into a deeper relationship with ourselves.
While my work is grounded in psychotherapy and trauma-informed practice, I also hold space for the existential, spiritual and soulful dimensions of healing whenever they naturally arise.
You do not need to identify as spiritual to work with me. All beliefs, backgrounds and worldviews are welcome.
We honour every wound.
We welcome every part.
We orient towards Self.

What to Expect
Each session is a collaborative exploration of your inner world.
We begin with whatever feels most present for you. Rather than following a rigid structure or analysing your experiences from a distance, we gently listen for the parts of you that are asking for attention.
Some sessions may involve talking and reflection. Others may include guided parts work, somatic awareness, mindfulness or compassionate inquiry. Together, we create space for whatever needs to emerge.
While we honour the wounds that have shaped you, our intention is not to remain immersed in them. We continually orient towards the qualities of Self—compassion, curiosity, clarity, courage and connection—allowing your own inner wisdom to guide the healing process.
Every person’s journey is unique, and I adapt my approach to meet your individual needs.
