Integrative Transpersonal Counsellor

Internal Family Systems Therapist

asselle seitmagzimova

Hi, my name is Asselle Seitmagzimova.

I am an Integrative Transpersonal Counsellor and Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapist passionate about helping highly sensitive people cultivate a more compassionate relationship with themselves.

My passion for deep inner work was born from my own healing journey.

For much of my life, I struggled with anxiety, depression and a pervasive sense that something was wrong with me. Like many highly sensitive people, I moved through the world feeling deeply, questioning deeply, and often carrying burdens that were never truly mine.

I spent years searching for answers through counselling, coaching, psychology, spirituality and alternative healing modalities, trying to understand why I felt the way I did and how I could finally feel at home within myself.

What transformed my healing most profoundly was discovering that the parts of me I had spent years trying to fix, silence or overcome were not broken at all.

The anxious parts, the self-critical parts, the people-pleasing parts, the parts carrying shame, fear or sadness — all of them had developed for good reasons. They were trying, in their own way, to protect me.

Learning to meet these parts with curiosity, compassion and understanding changed everything.

Today, this understanding forms the heart of my work.

I believe that healing happens not through fighting ourselves, but through developing compassionate relationships with all parts of who we are.

My role is not to fix you, because I do not believe you are broken. Rather, I see myself as a compassionate companion and guide, helping you gently explore your inner landscape, heal old wounds, and reconnect with the calm, wise and authentic Self that already exists within you.

As a highly sensitive person myself, I know what it is like to feel deeply, to absorb the emotions of others, to struggle with self-criticism, perfectionism or people-pleasing, and to long for a deeper sense of meaning and belonging.

My sensitivity allows me to attune deeply to your experience and adapt our work to your unique needs.

Together, we create a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space where every part of you is welcome.

In our work together, you can expect warmth, compassion, practical guidance and deep process work that supports lasting inner transformation.

It would be an honour to accompany you on your journey home to yourself.

You do not need to become someone else in order to heal. Healing happens when all parts of you are welcomed home.

In working with me, you will be invited into a deep dive into yourself, creating greater clarity, self-awareness, self-compassion and empowerment.

As a result you’ll feel lighter, freer and more empowered to meet life’s challenges.

Love is the answer in the inner world. Just as it is in the outer world. Listening to, embracing and loving parts allow them to heal and transform as much as it does for people.”

The Journey that Shaped My Work

For as long as I can remember, I felt deeply.

I experienced the world intensely, often sensing more than I knew how to hold. Like many highly sensitive people, I quietly wondered whether there was something wrong with me.

I grew up in a family and culture that valued education, achievement and doing things well. Emotions weren’t something we spoke about. I learned to be the good girl—to strive, to adapt and to meet expectations.

From the outside, I was doing everything right.

I earned a degree from a prestigious university, built a successful corporate career and achieved many of the milestones I believed would finally bring me happiness.

Yet inwardly, I felt increasingly disconnected from myself.

Anxiety, depression and relentless self-criticism became quiet companions. No matter how much I achieved, there remained a sense that I wasn’t enough.

That inner unease became the beginning of my real journey.

I wanted to understand who I was beneath the expectations, the conditioning and the roles I had learned to play. But every time I turned inward, I encountered another emotional roadblock.

Heartbreak became a profound turning point.

It invited me to look more deeply at the patterns I had been repeating for years. Why was I drawn to emotionally unavailable people? Why did I abandon my own needs so easily? Why did love feel so difficult?

Those questions led me into years of exploration.

I immersed myself in psychotherapy, coaching, trauma work, meditation, yoga, contemplative practice, plant medicine and many different approaches to healing. Along the way, I trained as an integrative transpersonal counsellor and continued searching for something that could reach the depth of what I was carrying.

Gradually, I came to understand the wounds that had shaped me.

I could trace my attachment patterns back to childhood. I could recognise the beliefs I had internalised. I understood why my protective patterns had developed.

And yet…

Understanding alone wasn’t bringing the freedom I longed for.

In some ways, I became even more identified with my wounds. I found myself analysing the past, searching for explanations and carrying resentment towards the people and circumstances that had shaped me.

Something inside me knew there had to be another way.

Throughout those years, I would occasionally experience moments of extraordinary peace—in meditation, in nature, or in the quiet intimacy of authentic human connection.

For a few brief moments, everything softened.

There was no striving.

No self-judgement.

Only a profound sense of love, presence and belonging.

Those moments never felt like escaping my humanity.

They felt like remembering something essential.

Everything began to come together when I discovered Internal Family Systems alongside somatic approaches to trauma healing.

For the first time, I experienced a way of working that honoured both my psychological wounds and my spiritual nature.

I no longer saw my anxious, self-critical or protective parts as obstacles to overcome.

They became parts of me longing to be understood, witnessed and loved.

IFS speaks of the Self—a calm, compassionate, courageous and deeply wise presence that exists within each of us.

For me, this resonated with what I had glimpsed throughout my spiritual journey.

Some call it Self.

Others know it as Spirit, the Higher Self, the Soul, or simply love itself.

Whatever language we choose, I have come to believe that this loving presence is where our deepest healing unfolds.

My work today is rooted in this understanding.

We gently tend to the wounds of the past, not to remain there, but to help every part of ourselves reconnect with the love, wisdom and wholeness that have never been lost.

Healing, to me, is not about fixing what is broken.

It is about remembering who we truly are.
